Calling all readers, collectors, and community supporters! The Friends of the New Milford Public Library are holding their Annual Summer Book Sale—and it’s not just another seasonal event. Due to major construction at the library, this will be the final book sale for at least two years, making it a must-attend for anyone who loves great books at unbeatable prices.
The sale takes place at New Milford High School with the following schedule:
- Thursday, July 11: Early Bird Hour (9–10 a.m.) for $5 admission, then free entry from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Friday, July 12: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Saturday, July 13: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with all books at half price!
From novels and biographies to kids’ books and cookbooks, there’s something for every reader. With a two-year pause on the horizon, the Friends group urges attendees to “think ahead and stock up!”
